Mission
BELGIAN BEER ACADEMY Tasting Club is a beer tasting & activity club aimed to promote (Belgian) beer amongst the public, Belgians and foreigners, in an educational and full of fun way.
Through the following activities our members will be able to discover the exceptional Belgian beer world and improve their knowledge while having the exclusive opportunity to taste the rarest and finest beers:
Tasting workshops
The tasting workshops will take place every 2 months and are thematic:
- A brewery, its brewer, its beer(s)
- A beer type as Trappist, Lambic, X-Mas beers
- Beer & food pairing : beer and gastronomy, chocolate, cheese
- A Belgian region or a foreign country and its beers, according to the actuality
- Brewing process, ingredients, service (glass, temperature), storage
- Special guests presentations : brewer, journalist, chef, retailer
Beer Tours & visits
Beer tours and visits will take place every 3 months and are being scheduled according to the beer agenda in Belgium and abroad:
- Brewery visits + beer tasting and beer & food experiences
- Beer festivals visits as the Beerparadise WE and Bruxellensis (September 2011)
- Brewery open days
- Hops harvest, museums, regional beer & tourism experiences
